How to Listen to XM Radio Online

Listening to XM radio is now possible online. XM is a radio programming service offered through a paid subscription. Since it is paid for by each subscriber, it offers commercial-free programs to listen, and provides thousands of stations through its satellite.

XM radio can be received at home or in your car, depending on where you have your receiver. XM is now available online for your listening enjoyment. Here is how to listen to XM radio program online.

1. Check the computer system requirements and make sure you have the proper set up to run XM radio online.  If you have limited memory it may have to be upgraded.
   
   


2. Use your computer to log on to the Sirius XM radio website.  Click the "Listen Online Now" button. If you already have an XM radio account click on "Subscribe Now" link. But if you do not have an account you will need to register. Click the "Sign Up Today" button. Select "Begin" and start the process of setting up an account with XM radio online subscriber service. Fill in all the requested information and then create a password for your new account. When you have submitted your information a confirmation code will be sent to your email address you provided.
   
   


3. Go to your email and open the XM email to verify your code. Click the email link provided and key in your confirmation code. Check your spam folder.  Depending on your email security settings, it may have been sent there. 
   
   


4. Once you receive the email click on the appropriate link and follow the prompts to enter billing and credit card information. Since this is a subscription service a monthly fee will be charged. Therefore, a credit or debit card will be needed.
   
   


5. You can either hook up external speakers to your computer or synchronize your computer with your home entertainment system through a network application.
   
   


6. Don't forget to add the XM radio website to your favorites on your computer desktop for easy access.
   
   


7. Once registration is complete, in order to start enjoying all XM offers, go to the "Listen Now" tab and enter your password for access.
