How to Make Custom Made Converse Sneakers
Being able to customize your own Converse is a great way to have a unique pair of shoes that nobody else owns. Everything on the shoe is customizable from the color of the laces to the message on the heel tag of your shoe.
- Log onto the Converse website. Select the tab that allows you to design your own shoe.
- Choose a shoe style that you like the best.
- Click on the boxes on the top of the screen to get started. The first box will allow you to choose the outside of the shoe. There are 24 designs or 25 colors to choose from. Nothing is final on your shoe until you select to purchase, so change it as many times as you like until you find the color or design you like best.
- Choose the color or design of the inner outside body of the shoe. It can be the same or different than the outside portion that you first selected.
- Choose the color or design of your heel stripe. You can make it the same as the rest of the outer shoe or different. You still have 25 colors and 24 designs to choose from.
- Choose a color or design for the tongue of your shoe.
- Choose the color you want the inside of your shoe to be. Nobody is going to see this portion of your shoe, so it's okay if you want to leave it white or black. If you have chosen to make the double upper shoe, you may want to be creative with the inner layer of your shoe as it will be visible.
- Choose the color of eyelets your shoelaces will be strung through as well as the breathing eyelets on the inner side of the shoe. There are 12 colors to choose from.
- Choose a color for the rubber sidewall of your shoe. This is the portion of the sole that wraps around the shoe. There are three colors to choose from.
- Choose one of the three colors for the toe bumper at the top of the shoe.
- Choose one of the three colors for the toe cap of the shoe. This is the rubber piece that is on the top of the shoe.
- Choose a color for the racing stripe along the rubber sidewall of the shoe. There are 12 colors to choose from.
- Choose a color for the stitching around the shoe.
- Choose a color or design for your laces. There are two designs and 12 colors to choose from.
- Choose an ID for your shoe. This isn't necessary if you don't want your shoe to say anything special. The message can go on the side of the shoe or on the heel tag. The message can only be 12 characters long and nothing offensive. Choose the type font and the color of the message.
