How to Obtain a Library Card
- To get a library card you will need a photo ID card that has your full name and address listed.
- Go to your local library with your photo ID and ask for a library card application.
- Fill out the application and sign it. A minor will need their parent's signature as well as their own. Parents will also be able to stipulate if the card should be unrestricted or not. Unrestricted cards allow any materials to be checked out; a parent can also restrict certain titles or collections from being checked out by their children.
