How to Replace G20 Leather Seat Covers

If you are starting to notice that the leather seat covers on your Infiniti G20 have become worn and damaged, then you will need to purchase replacement covers. These can be purchased online and are fairly easy for you to install on your own.

Instructions for Bucket Seating:

  1. Take off the floor mounting bolts. Have an assistant help you lift the seats out of the Infiniti. Take the seats to a designated work area.

  2. Remove the mounting bolts on the seat. You will need to flip the seat upside-down to find the mounting bolts. Once you find them, use a wrench to take off the mounting bolts. Put these in a safe spot as you will need them in the future for reassembly.

  3. Remove the leather covering off the seat. Locate the opening to the new seat cover and position it over the top of the seat. Firmly pull down until the entire seat is covered.

  4. Reattach the mounting bolts. Lift the seat and place it back into the vehicle. Secure the floor mounting bolts to the base of the seat with a socket wrench. Repeat the same steps for the other bucket seat.

Instructions For Bench Seats:

  1. Remove the mounting bolts. There should be a total of four of these on the base of the seat. Remove them with a socket wrench.

  2. Remove the bench seat from the vehicle. You will need to access the trunk and take the bench seating out that way. You will need an assistant for this. Move the seating to the designated work area.

  3. Take the bolts off the cover. You will find these on the back of the leather bench cover. Take off the leather cover and put the new covers on.

  4. Secure the new leather covers in place. Reattach the bolts to the back of the new leather covers.

  5. Have an assistant help you put the bench seating back into the vehicle. Next, secure the floor mounting bolts back in place.
