How to Set Weather Clocks
Weather clocks provide owners with an accurate time display and current weather conditions, including the temperature and humidity levels. They also receive weather forecasts. Many people use weather clocks to help them plan their daily activities or to choose what clothing to wear for the day.
- Use the arrow buttons on top of the clock to choose your current location. This allows the weather clock to find the weather for your area and provide a more accurate forecast. As you are pushing the buttons, watch the display screen to see the city name. Cities are listed in alphabetical order. If your city is not listed, choose the one that is the closest to you.
- Press the "Favorites" button once your city name is displayed. This stores the city in your clock. Some clocks may allow you to choose more than one location to add to your favorites.
- Remove the battery cover, and check for the "Fahrenheit to Celsius" mode switch inside the battery compartment. Choose which measurement method you want the clock to display, and move the switch to the proper position. Place the battery cover back on the clock.
- Set the time. Press the "Time Zone" button until your time zone is displayed on the screen. The clock will then find the correct time for that time zone and display it on the screen. Press the "Favorites" button again to save the time zone savings to the clock.
- Look at the display screen to make sure the readings are accurate. Compare the display to the weather forecast on your radio, television or computer to determine whether the clock is getting the proper forecast.
