How to Tighten Your Eyeglasses
There is nothing more annoying than your glasses constantly sliding down your nose or in some cases falling completely off your face. Some people will just go out and purchase new glasses when this happens, but there is a way to tighten your eyeglasses to make them more comfortable and it is something you can do yourself in no time.
How to Tighten Your Eyeglasses
- Use your index finger and thumb to push the nosepieces inward to fit your nose more snugly. If your eyeglasses begin to hurt your face or bruising occurs, you have more than like tightened them too much. If this happens, gently push them slightly outward to get a better fit.
- Adjust the temple end pieces at the very back of the frame to fit tighter around your ears by using your thumb and your index finger to gently bend them to increase the curving around your ears. This will make the glasses fit tighter around your head.
- Adjust the temples, which are the long side arms of the frame of the glasses by pushing the temples inward at the hinge. This can be done with your fingers.
- Use an eyeglass screwdriver and carefully tighten the small screws in the hinges where each stem attaches to the front of the frame.
