How to Use Pink Foam Hair Rollers
It always seems as if those with curly hair want straight hair and those with straight hair want curly hair. While straight hair can be achieved with straighteners, curly hair can be accomplished through a perm, a curling iron or the use of various types of hair rollers. Pink foam hair rollers are extremely inexpensive and can provide you with luxurious curls if you know how to use them properly.
Items Needed:
- Spritzing bottle
- Comb
- Hairspray or curling cream
- Hair rollers
- Prepare your hair for curling by lightly spritzing your hair with water. Your hair doesn’t have to be freshly washed, as the natural oils in your hair will help it curl better.
- Comb through your hair to ensure that it is free of tangles.
- Separate your hair into sections for the rollers. The size of the sections will depend on the size of your rollers and how tight of a curl you want. If you want a loose curl, use larger sections instead of smaller sections which will make your hair curlier.
- Work with one section at a time. Apply a light coating of hairspray or curling cream to the section if you desire. Open the roller by unsnapping the plastic rectangle away from the foam piece. Grasp the section of hair with one hand and hold the roller in the other. Begin at the bottom of your hair and wind it under around the roller. If you wind it over the roller, your curls will be sticking out the wrong way. When you reach the top of your hair or want to end the curl, fold the plastic rectangle back over the foam piece until it snaps into place to secure the roller in your hair.
- Leave the rollers in for several hours or overnight. The longer the rollers are left in, the most drastic the effects.
- Remove the rollers from your hair by unsnapping the plastic piece from the roller. Gently unwind the hair from the roller. When you have taken all of the rollers out, arrange your curls and spray with hairspray if desired.
