How to View Print Shop Files
Launched to the public over twenty years ago, Broderbund’s Print Shop desktop publishing program introduced a hands-on approach to personal design. Users can create their own customized images, invitations, banners, brochures and more on their own time!
Technology allows its users to create and save their self-made designs, while giving them the opportunity to come back to their design later on. Being a user yourself, you decide to create a Print Shop document. You save it and close the program. Later, you decide to edit and/or, perhaps, print your self-made project to share with friends and family. Prior to doing so, however, you need to retrieve your design within Print Shop. If you have never done so, or need a refresher, the following instructions will guide you through the process to help you get to your masterpiece.
Instructions on How to View Your Print Shop Files
Step 1: Press “Start” in the lower left-hand corner of your computer’s main toolbar. A pop-up window will result, allowing you to proceed.
Step 2: Select and press “All Programs” within the pop-up window where you will find a list of every available program located on your computer.
Step 3: Locate and select “Print Shop” to launch the program.
Step 4: Click “File” located at the top in the software’s menu bar once Print Shop has loaded. A pull-down menu will emerge.
Step 5: Click “Open” in this pull-down menu and a new window will launch.
Step 6: Select the Print Shop project you wish to view from within the window, and press “OK.” By doing so, your selection will pull up onto the screen for you to view. At this point, you have the ability to edit, print or close your chosen self-design.
