Re-create an actual royal wedding

If you want William and Kate or Charles and Diana, you can have it just in a much scaled back way. Look for pictures of your favorite royal wedding; pick the decorations that you love most. Use the bold colors and similar style of flowers.

Your table linens may not be the same brand, but they can be the same color. Switch out expensive flowers for a less expensive cousin. Look for bulk discounts on ribbon and other items you need large amounts of.

Create your own Royal affair

Use bold colors like royal purple and gold. The trick to looking royal is using colors in the right way. If your entire room is purple with accents of shiny gold and white flowers, it will look royal.

Use crowns as part of your theme; have it printed on napkins, place cards and invitations. Use decorative jewels to create crowns in your candles. Use gold ribbon to wind through the flower arrangements and to tie back chair covers.
