Tips on Cleaning Glass Windows
They say that the eye is the window to the soul. Well if the eye is the window to the soul, then what leads one to the soul of a window? Well one thing is for sure, nothing is less soulful than having dirty windows. Dirty windows can speak volumes about a person's home, even if the house is essentially clean on the inside. But who likes cleaning windows? Some housekeepers don't clean windows. Do you do windows? Now you do.
- Use a micro-fiber cloth instead of a paper towel when cleaning your windows. Paper towels leave micro-sized pieces behind, making a mockery out of all your hard work.
- Grab a medium to large super clean white towel to give the window another once-over, especially go extra deep inside the nooks and crannies of the window. Get any dripping water in order not to leave any streaks.
- Use a 50/50 percent vinegar/water mixture solution to help cut into hard greasy areas.
- Use a large, crumpled up black and white newspaper to bring forth an incredible shine. Take the newspaper and go up and down, do not add water while doing this. Just buff the window with the newspaper, sit back and admire your shiny windows.
