Where to Find Good Landscaping Designing Services

When you are in the beginning stages of creating a landscape to accent your house and increase your property value, you may want to hire a landscape designer.  These professionals have the skills, education and experience to create something beautiful out of any piece of property.  You just need to know where to find good landscaping designing services in your area.

• Visit your local home improvement store, like Home Depot or Lowe’s.  Each of these stores has a garden department with associates that have been trained to help customers get the necessary materials and ideas for any type of project.  Customer associates can help you create your own design or provide you with a list of landscape designing services in the area.  You may even be able to hire a service company through your home improvement store.  Many companies work closely with home improvement store to assist customers.

• Inspect other landscape designs in your area.  If you find one that you like, talk with the owner and ask if he or she hired a landscape designing service to complete the job.  If so, the homeowner may be able to refer you to a good designing service.  If not, you will have complimented the owner on his or her own work and you may get some ideas that you can do yourself.

• Use your favorite online search engine to find places in your area that offer landscape design services.  The results of your search should provide you with links to the designer’s website and contact information so you can call the professional about the services you need.

• Check the registered landscape design services listed on MerchantCircle.  This website will give you a detailed description of the company as well as contact information.  You can also read reviews from previous customers.  This will allow you to make an informed decision before contacting the service.

• Click the “Find a Firm” link on the American Society of Landscape Architects website.  Type in your city, state and country.  Choose “Residential” for the “Specialty” option and click “Search.”  The Landscape Design Site and Service Magic are two other sites that can also search for landscape design services in your area.
