Thinking about getting a bid for your damaged roof?
An honest roofing company will measure your roof to find out how many squares it has (1 square=10x10) by getting up on the roof with a tape measure. Measuring your roof from the ground will give the contractor a rough estimate but would you want to overpay on your new roof by thousands of dollars because of a "rough" estimate? Make sure the roofing contractor gets on the roof before he gives you a bid or you may end up, quite literally, paying "through the roof!"
