Their prices are very reasonable. The guy that helped us spent a very long time with my kids making sure that everything fit perfectly. He even stayed more than a half hour after the store closed to sharpen their new skates! I couldn't have asked for better service. We will be back for sure!
Locally owned
Small shop that provides service. The large internet companies have better pricing but have no service. I mix my purchases between both and have found that EJ is the best in town and take my skates there to be sharpen and have purchased a few sticks and other items their at competitive prices.
knowledgeable staff
Their prices are as low as they can be for Skates and the knowledge of the staff makes it the best place for skates and sharpening. The staff can get a little edgy but they are able to sense the internet shoppers that just want to get their opinions or get sizes and then buy the equipment online from megasites. I don't blame them for not giving their service away.
Great Store - Helpful Staff
Everytime I go to this store the customer service has been great. I have been going to EJ Sports for 10 years and have always been very happy and recommend EJ sports to everyone. I am going back to by new skates soon.
This store sucks!!!!!
EJ is the one of the worst pro shops I have ever had to deal with. They have poor customer service an the attitude as if they are the direct descendants of the Hockey Gods. The only reason they can pull this off is because they are the only game in town. There are other... options out there with much better prices. EJ needs to get a little dose of reality and realize without the customer they have no business. I try to support local but unfortunately it hard when they don't support back.
Won't sell you something you don't need
Love that they will steer you in the right direction-adult or kids hockey needs. Both my kids and my husband play hockey and they have been great about fitting, telling us to keep using what we've got, etc. Might not be the least expensive, but the knowledge and help go a long way. Also, no one sharpens skates the way EJ's does.
