A Great Shopping Experience
My husband and I were in desperate need of a dryer and we researched several stores to compare prices. We narrowed it down to Hallocks giving us the best deal. We both went to the West Haven Store on Main Street and we were greeted by Kathy who was a big help in assist...ing us. We picked out the exact dryer that we saw in other stores for a much lower price and we were definetly impressed. Kathy guaranteed us delivery with a phone call that would let us know a window of time that the appliance would be deliverd and what day. The dryer arrived at the exact time they promised and the gentlemen that delivered were very responsible and helpful to us. We will definetly return to Hallocks when we need our next appliance. Useless Web Site
The Hallocks website is a useless disgrace. Unlike web sites from other applicance dealers which provide specific information about the models they carry as well as the prices, Hallocks only provides a list of brand names, nothing more. However, they DO take the tim...e to scare do it yourselfers from performing their own installations. How self serving can you be? This alone illustrates where Hallocks is coming from. I live some distance away from New Haven, and the attitude reflected in their website will ensure that I never come in for a visit.
mattress search
I have been shopping for a mattress online. In the past I bought from Hallocks, but I no longer live in the New Haven area, so I thought that your website would be of help. Unfortunately your website is a nonsite! It is an advertising and cunsumer service disaster. i am afraid that i will be shopping for my mattress elsewhere.
Great customer service
I bought 3 appliances from Hallock's and when they were delivered, the deliveryman told me that they were too large to go through the door so he didn't even try. When I called Kathy, at the store, she was courteous and helped solve the problem immediately. The applian...ces were delivered the following week and the delivery people were wonderful and had no problem getting them through the door! Kathy couldn't have been more helpful and I'll definitely shop with them again!
