We love it!
Been there DOZENS of times over the years. I agree the Chicken Murphy is great so are the country pork chops. My favorite is the Steak Luizza. One reviewer had a bad experience everone else highly rates it. Maybe he just caught them on a bad day. We have "NEVER" been disapointed.

Been going to Lucentos for years and luckily I live in the area. All meals come with delicious fresh made bread and excellent salads with Luchentos own unique red wine vinegar dressing. Also keep in mind that this is a BYOB. I'm not a big pasta person so I usually stick with the meat dishes. My favorite dish is the Chicken Pietro Rosa dish which is a sort of creamy marsala sauce over chicken with mushroom and bacon. People that are used to bland standard chain food restaurant may not be happy with Luchentos, you need to have a taste palette to appreciate this restaurant. I wish more restaurants like Luchentos were around as the uncreative standard chain restaurants are ruining the dining out experience...PS..the desert menu is also excellent, try the chocolate flourless cake!

Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Some menu items superior to others. Prices have increased lately but still worth the drive to and meal expense. We drive from Middlesex County to dine there. Group dining is recommended. Been a patron for years and have recommended Luchentos to friends and families and they are still returning themselves for a great meal.

I travel to Luchentos from Hoboken, NJ (about an hour) for Dinner. I try to find a reason to be in that area so I can go there. The bread is delicious, The huge salad (which comes with all entrees) has a terrific red wine vinegarette dressing "With a bite" which makes you salivate the second you smell it. All dishes are great but I highly recommend the "Chicken Murphy". The ambiance is very family friendly (used to be a barn) So if you like good food with a down home country feel, Luchentos is your place!

Great Experience!!
We have been frequent visitors of Luchentos for many years, we were excited to hear they had reopened and were very impressed with our experience. The food was both delicious and plentiful! My husband and I booked our sons birthday in their banquet room and received many compliments from our guests on how wonderful Luchentos made our occasion. It is hard to find great food, great service, and a warm atmosphere but somehow Luchentos has done it again!!

We had our son and daughter-in-law's wedding rehearsal dinner at Luchento's and I just want to compliment Carrie Renzi on how professionally she handled our event. She was extremely accommodating and made sure our requests were taken care of from the planning of the event right on through the entire evening. Although she was professional, she added a personal touch to our conversations. The food was excellent and her staff could not have been any more helpful. We had the private back room all to ourselves. The atmosphere was exquisite, and there was no noise from the restaurant due to the fact that the doors to our room were closed. The fact that we were able to bring our own beer and wine, allowed us to have the selections we preferred, as well as bringing our event within our budget. I would highly recommend Luchento's if you are considering a catered event. Thank you, Carrie, family, and staff for a wonderful and memorable evening!

My family went to Luchentos about two weeks ago. Since their remodeling, the atmosphere is more upscale and absolutely beautiful. The menu has been slightly changed for the better. It now includes many of my favorite dishes that weren't always on the menu before. Loved the side dishes of roasted potatoes and vegetable medly, instead of the old pasta and sauce. Loved the bread and dipping seasoning with olive oil. The owners were extremely friendly, that waiter was wonderful, and our food was perfect in every way. I loved Luchentos before they closed, but I can honestly say, that all around, they are even better than before which I didn't think could be possible. It was an outstanding experience for all of us. The deserts were also fabulous. Even though there were many other customers in the restaurant, we felt the staff and owners took the time to make us feel welcomed, comfortable, and pampered. Thanks again for another wonderful evening experience!. We'll be returning soon!

My family and I go to Luchentos all the time. The food is delicious and the staff and management are very friendly. The prices are very reasonable, especially with the portion sizes you receive. The restaurant is beautifully remodeled, both inside and out. I absolutely love it there!!!

Talk about overhyped. By looking at the remodel you would think you were in for a great experience. We thought wrong. We were old Luchentos customers and in the old restaurant you can actually hear the person next to you talk, not in the new Luchentos. The service was horrendous and when we complained to the manager about the food taking way too long he looked at us like a deer in headlights. When we got our meals one of them was wrong and one of them was cold. They did nothing for us and acted like they didn't care. Owners seemed stuck up and didn't look like they cared much about the guest experience either. Overall extremely disappointed and would not consider going back.

Food was terrible and cold. Most of the people didnt get what they ordered. The wait staff was worse than the food, they didnt care and spent most of their time just running around accomplishing nothing.
Use to go to this place before they closed. It was ok then, nothing special. Now it's horrible and they don't care.
Very Good & Very Pretty Remodel
Along with many others, I waited for the renovations to be competed and it really does look so beautiful inside. There were 9 of us out for dinner on Friday, the place was packed. It did take about 35 minutes for us to get our food, but I didn't think it was too bad seeing as we were a bigger part and it was very busy. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was really so good. I saw some of the bad reviews so was a little nervous, but still wanted to check it out. Everyone at our table was pleased with their food and service. I always loved the food at Luchento's and thought it was still delicious. I, along with others in my party, will be back! Thanks.

14 of us go out monthly. We decided to try Luchentos regardless of the horrible reviews. It took 4 hours to eat dinner, the food came out after two hours and every single meal was ICE COLD . Coffee and dessert took another hour and a half. We had to ask for the bill 5 times before it was given to us. Upon addressing the manager--he looked at our $500 bill and offered to take 15% off the NEXT TIME WE COME!! As if we would ever go there again!

Wasn't any better then before it closed.. Just looks nicer.. But nicer doesn't fill my belly! Bad taste in my mouth.
