Your just have to go in and listen in the attic and follow the sound. If they are in the walls, sheet rock will need to be removed.
These are all good answers as finding the cause that brings them there. Trap them and after finding the traps empty for a few days, seal any holes or areas big enough to let them in. Look close to ground level.
They sell a motion controlled sprinkler that will train them to go some where else. About $70. If a nut tree is above the table, move the table.
To relocate you can trap them with a trap in front of their hole and put chicken wire around the side , so they don't take a quick exit left. Relocate a few miles away and they should stay put. Fenceing is the only thing I know to keep them out of your yard.
Check with your Animal Control Officer, but most home owners can trap them and relocate to a state forest. After you trap the animal, wear leather gloves and put a cloth over the trap before picking it up. This will calm the animal dowm and should'nt be a problem to pick up and transport. It will defacate in your vehicle, so put down something to not mess up your car. Pickups are better. If any of this is more than you want to do, call a pro.
Find the hole they are entering in and hang 2" fiberglass bug screening useing ducktape along the area. Bats will crawl out but can't figure out how to get back in. Seal hole after 3-4 days.

I've never come across anything but trapping the skunk to get rid of one. Please don't use mothballs or some spray you find in a store. Use a box trap covered with a thick cloth and add bait. Check with your state codes and you maybe able to relocate it. They'er usaully very docile during the day, so removal isn't a big problem. I talk to them like I would a cat. Never had a problem.
Sounds like you have a skunk that wants to visit. He's looking for grubs, so you may want to control them so he goes else were. Yop can set up a box trap with circus peanuts as bait. Make sure you cover the trap with a small tarp, so you can transport it easier as it makes the animal calm. Take it at least 5 miles away.
Small animals won't damage a car. Deer or larger will.
All states are different, but contact your state DEP or NWCO assoc. for your state. Usually a class and then a test to pass.
That needs to be taken care of by your state or local DEP. they usually will haze them or relocate the problem bear.

I've had luck useing tinsel hung around the house that you use for Christmas. Hang it for a couple of weeks and they should get the idea. You can use balloons as well.
Bug screen needs to be installed and a heavy wire screen for bigger hole for bigger animals.
