Splashdown Beach

Although very refreshing and great for families, staff need to be more observant. Watched a lifeguard standing right near the slide in the Ship Wrecked area, as kids came down and simply stopped at the bottom until the next child came down running into the first kid. Li...feguard was not even watching. Saw a very young child in the wave pool with his father-not more than 2..without a diaper! Overheard a conversation from family sitting right next to us- ( agree chairs much too close to each other) saying a family member had vomited into the pool and no one saw her! Food- good and prices a bit high, but same as other waterparks. Would love to see an adult pool! More shaded areas needed ( at least more umbrellas). Love that there are child tubes in the lazy river. Is there a legal max. of people allowed? On my last visit, could not even move (in or out of the water) without bumping into someone. There are always pros/cons to any park we go to, nothing is perfect. However, we as parents must take the other route to ensure our children are safe, well suited and to take the precautions needed for their safety. Instead of criticizing the park, just write a letter t...o the owner regarding your concerns and he will hopefully address it. In the meantime, just enjoy the park like my family does as well as several others. The price isn't too far off than the other nearby parks......and this is closer to travel. It was a nice park until they started advertising in the city a lot of lowlifes are entering the park.

It is way too expensive as it is!!!! Kids should also pay by age not height... I live near the park I would rather travel to Zoom Floom It is cheaper and they have better stuff.... The park is not that big it's nice but it's not that nice....

After leaving splash down, my 2 yr old son came down w/ a 102 degree temperture. I then noticed blisters on his tongue. this was the next two days. When I took him tothe doctors I was informed he had came down w/ gaucaukus. Wich is a infection of the mouth. Caused by ot...her human contact from bodily fluids. Primarely children 2 and under are more likely to get this infection.I noticed the whole water park is ran by teenagers and the water level was low and gross tasting. I don't think the clorine level was up to par. I plan on looking into this much further. My poor son suffered and was not able to eat for two days. All parents please be carefull. Read More

We love going to Splashdown Beach! There is something for everyone! Our oldest does all the waterslides and the halfpipe, while our tow little ones love the kid area. We all love the Lazy River and the Wave Pool. It can get pricey...we would love if there were coupons available...next year we are considering the family pass.
