Wig Towne has been providing services to me since I was in my twenty's. My hair loss and thinness was DEVASTATING to me...Linda has always been so sweet, funny and helpful. And believe me...I am not an easy customer....I am very picky about how my hair is cut! People... I don't even know comments on the beautiful highlights in my hair. It makes me feel good!Thank you Linda and Wig Towne for my glamorous highlighted hair.
The Best Shop and Service Around
I have nothing but great things to say about Tara and Linda. They went out of their way to help me during a very difficult time in my life and I could not have asked for better service. They got me exactly what I wanted and I was more than happy. Their knowledge and the... fact that they have been in the business for so long was very comforting. Everything I needed was right their, from supplies to turbans. Linda is a hairdresser as well so they were able to cut and style my wig to fit me perfectly. I have no idea why anyone would talk badly about them or would have had a bad experience there. I was not only referred by my Dr, but also by 3 other woman who were at chemo with me, that purchase from them as well. All had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend their shop for any type of hair loss.
Go somewhere else
This shop Is unfriendly and unreliable. My dear friend, needed a wig before her hair started falling out from chemo treatments. After a week "on order" she was told the wig was backordered. My friend then picked another wig and was told it would take another week to ...come in . After leaving several messages, my friend finally blocked her phone number and guess what? Wigtowne finally answered the phone, telling her in another 5 days her wig would be in. In the meantime, my friend's hair was falling out at an alarming rate. We went to a lovely shop in Old Saybrook, Just Wigs, where my friend was helped by a warm, understanding staff and walked out with a gorgeous wig and a smile! Now, not needing the wig from Wigtowne, called to cancel her order. They would not return her $150 deposit and instead gave her a store credit. These people are terrible. Not understanding, not good at their jobs and sneaky and unreliable. Go to Just Wigs instead!
