Forbes Magazine, in 2007, ranked the city the seventh fastest growing suburb in the United States. The city has a population of around 101,000 people and covers 70 square miles. The residents of Frisco have an average household income of about $93,500. The National Arbor Day Foundation has nicknamed the city "Tree City USA". Among the city's largest employers are T-Mobile USA and Rodman Excavation. The biggest schools here include Dallas Baptist University and Amberton University. One of the best places to visit when you are in the city is the Frisco Athletic Center which is often referred to as the "Rec Center".
