How to Assemble Saltwater Fishing Equipment

- Remove the pole attached to the handle situated in the location of the reel. In order to accomplish this, hold the bottom part of the pole while turning the upper part in a counterclockwise direction.
- Affix the reel into the position where the pole was taken apart, and then arrange the pole back into place on top of the reel.
- Tie the fishing line around the reel and secure it into place with a slipknot.
- Send the fishing line through the metal circular loops along the fishing pole. Start at the loop nearest the reel and work the way up towards the end of the fishing pole.
- Maintain the tension in the fishing wire while keeping the wire on the initial hole of the fishing line. Reel the line in line so that there is enough line for several circular motions around the reel. Any additional line should be cut off at the end.
- Complete the project by tying a cinch knot in the lure at the end of the line. This will establish a holding point for the line to keep it in place. Tighten the line so it is securely in place and remove any additional wiring.
