Brother Embroidery Machine Instructions

How to Jump & Cut Stitch With Brother Embroidery

The Brother Embroidery sewing machine stitches each custom design by jumping from the recently completed section to next sequential stitch in the pattern. If the embroiderer removes the jump stitches from these designs during the stitching process, then it will save the much needed time in having to cut and remove errors. In the end, the embroiderer will have a neater and more professional-looking product.

  1. Add stabilizer and fabric to the
embroidery hoop to set up the sewing machine. Choose the embroidery
design and custom threads. Position the embroidery hoop into the
    sewing machine.

  2. Turn on the power to the sewing machine
and start sewing the custom design. Notice if the sewing machine
slows down when it comes to jump stitching. Stop the sewing machine
after it jumps into the next portion of the design.

  3. Press on the thread cutter on the
sewing machine to sever the top and bobbin threads. This ends the
first set of jump stitches before moving on to the next sequence in
    the custom embroidery design.

  4. Restart the sewing machine to move on
to the next portion of the custom design. Stop the sewing machine
again once it reaches the next jump stitch in the pattern design.
Press the thread cutter to sever the top and bobbing threads.

  5. Start the sewing machine until reaching
a jump stitch. Stop the sewing machine and then cut the jump stitch.
Repeat the aforementioned steps until finalizing the product. Remove
the completed product from the embroidery hoop.

  6. Clean and remove any excess debris from
the sewing machine. Turn off the Brother Embroidery sewing machine.

  7. Admire the final product.
