Is Zumba for me?
If you have asked yourself whether Zumba is for you or not, here are a few things to consider: Do you get bored doing the same steps in an exercise class over and over again? Do you enjoy a party atmosphere? Are you open to learning new rhythms, such as salsa, merengue, hip hop, and reggaeoton? Are you interested in taking a fitness class that incorporates all of the above AND burn 650+ calories in one hour? Here are a few routines that you may find in my class. As you will see, there are slower rhythms, as well as those with a higher intensity. New Year, New You...with Zumba With Rita!
It's 2011, and it's time to get fit...for you and those that love you! Working out can definitely be a drag, and getting up to go and get on the "dreadmill" can be boring. But what if you add some... salsa hip hop merengue reggaeton...and other fun beats? You have yourself a PARTY! And who doesn't like a party? Zumba is a dance fitness program that incorporates Latin, as well as international rhythms, to create a dynamic and fun workout. No dance experience needed. All ages and fitness levels welcome. What if I have two left feet and no rhythm whatsoever? As your instructor, I want you to have the best experience ever. I ensure to offer both verbal, as well as visual, cueing allowing you, the student, to know what the upcoming step will be. At almost every class I teach, there is always at least one person who has never taken a Zumba class and/or feels they cannot dance. They ALWAYS stay the entire class -- GREAT JOB! I'm a little nervous. Will there a lot of people in class? At my Teravista class in Round Rock, we have a small class of students who appreciate a smaller class. We all get to know each other, and at the end of each session, we have a party with snacks and drinks which allows us to get to know each other even more. Along with this, I ensure to dim the lights in class, so you don't feel like you have headlights right on you LOL Do I need to be a Teravista resident? Absolutely NOT :) Classes at Teravista are open to the community, and everyone is welcome to attend. What is included in the New Year Zumba With Rita Session? Here is what is included in your session: Ten (10) Zumba classes (1 hour each, on Tuesdays) Two (2) FREE Friend Passes (invite two of your friends to join you, separately or whenever!) Spring Break End-Of-The-Session Party (Zumba class, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and fun) First four (4) people who sign up will win a FREE Zumba T-Shirt Earn Rita Bucks$ (a point system that will earn youprizesat the end of the session) A More Fit You Investment: ONLY $55 When do classes begin?
