How to Make Wine From Grapes
Mash the grapes in a large bowl using your hands or a potato masher.
Put the mashed grapes into a large gallon jar. Use a spatula to ensure you get all the grapes from the bowl.
Add 1/2 cup of sugar to the jar and stir until it is completely dissolved.
Add 1 packet of yeast that has been dissolved in warm water and stir.
Cover the jar with a cheesecloth to allow air to enter the jar and the fumes to escape.
Place the jar in a warm place for approximately 21 days.
Remove the cheesecloth from the jar and strain the wine.
Strain again and pour the remainder in a dark colored bottle.
