Bethlehem is a part of the Litchfield County area of Connecticut known for yearly pilgrimages from people all around the country, to the post office, in order to send Christmas Cards with a Bethlehem postmark. Major attractions include the Bellamy-Ferriday House and Garden and the Old Bethlehem Historical Society Museum. One of the best places to visit when you are in Bethlehem is "Devil's Backbone", a ridge on the eastern side of town. The ridge is one of 30 places in Connecticut named for the devil.
