No change in Boston Globe distributor for Eastern Connecticut
Chester, CT - Delivery Service of Connecticut is still the Boston Globe home delivery provider for Eastern Connecticut. "There's been some confusion during the last week and some of our customers think that we are no longer their home delivery company for Boston Globe home delivery," DSC owner Mark Guthrie said Monday. Since Boston Globe has changed their distributor for a large area of Massachusetts, there have been some service problems there. But Eastern Connecticut is not affected. "We are still the home delivery provider from Westbrook to the Rhode Island border and for towns as far north as Norwich," Guthrie said. "So don't be concerned if you have heard about delivery problems elsewhere." Boston Globe home delivery customers in Eastern Connecticut should notice no change in their service. "Also, if customers in Eastern Connecticut have problems contacting Boston Globe by using the Boston Globe customer service telephone number, they can call us direct at our office," Guthrie said.
