Garner is a part of the Eastern region of Kentucky known for its amazing cliffs and gorges. The city of Garner is located on the bank of the Ohio River in Boyd County. Garner sets 13 miles southwest of the county seat of Catlettsburg and 17 miles south of the largest city in Boyd County, Ashland.
