East Williamson is a hamlet near the east town line of Williamson, New York in the County of Wayne. There are a few popular landmarks worth mentioning. Orbaker’s Drive-in, which is a hamburger/hotdog stand, has been in business since 1932. The Candy Kitchen opened in 1890 and is known as Nicks. It has been owned and run by four generations of the Boosalis family. Every year the Williamson Apple Blossom Festival takes place. This is to celebrate the town’s heritage of apple farming. This event is held in May at the height of the blooms. Local businesses include Paige Equipment Sales & Service, East Williamson Fire Dept, and East Williamson Free Methodist Church.
