Lake George, part of the Glens Falls metro area, is a city located in Warren County, New York. At one time Lake George had a thriving lumber industry. Today,the city's industry is based primarily on tourism. . During the summer, thousands of people visit the city. Major attractions in the city, other than Lake George, are the Bull Frog Pond Ice Skating Rink, Diamond Point Beach, Usher Park and the Lake George Recreational Center. Students living in the area attend the Lake George Central School District. There are also numerous hotels, resorts, bed &breakfast, as well as restaurants located in Lake George.
