The hamlet of Moriches, NY is located in Suffolk County on the south shore of eastern Long Island, 52.6 miles from the New York City line in Queens. It is situated in the Town of Brookhaven near to, but not to be confused with, its close relatives, East Moriches and Center Moriches.
