Gun cleaning kit mainly includes cleaning stick and cleaning wire brush Use the cleaning rod (A) and one of the cleaning wire brushes (B) to clean the bore of your barrel. ·        Insert the cleaning wire brush into your barrel. ·        Push it through the bore with a cleaning rod (A) until you feel resistance, then pull it back out. ·        Repeat this process with each of the wire brushes in your kit until they come out clean, then repeat using different types of brushes to ensure you've cleaned every part of your barrel's bore Grab a cleaning patch (F) and place it on the cleaning rod with the patch loop facing down. ·        Grab a cleaning patch (F) and place it on the cleaning rod with the patch loop facing down. ·        If you prefer to use an angled cleaning rod, simply rotate your gun so that you can see the breech end of it. Make sure that your fingers are adequately out of harm’s way and firmly grip onto your rifle’s stock before you start working. ·        Now pick up another piece of equipment, called an oiler, which is used for applying gun oil or cleaning solvent onto any area of your firearm that needs it. Patching your gun is an easy and effective way to clean out some of the residue from your barrel. As you learned, patching is an efficient way to clean out the barrel of your gun. To do this, place a small amount of solvent on the tip of a cleaning rod. Attach one end of the cleaning rod to an area where it will not move while you are pushing through the barrel, such as near your shooting hand or foot (depending on how you're holding your weapon). Put some solvent-soaked patches onto a rag and then use that rag to wipe down your firearm's exterior before placing it in an unloaded state. Wrap one end of another patch around a jag and wet it with solvent until it is fully saturated but not dripping wet; excess liquids may cause damage when they hit metal surfaces while being pushed through the barrel. With these steps completed, begin by pushing the soaked patch down into one end of your firearm's chamber or bore using steady pressure from both hands until only about two inches remain visible outside of said opening; this prevents dirt from entering as well as helps prevent solvent from spilling out as soon as pressure is relaxed after loading/unloading ammunition during subsequent use Remove the cleaning rod from your barrel. To remove the cleaning rod from your barrel, place your thumb on the end of the cleaning rod that is attached to your gun and slowly pull it through. If your barrel is especially dirty or you need to apply more pressure, remove the other end of the rod from its handle and wrap it around one hand so that you can use both hands to push down on the cleaning rod. It should come out easily; if not, use a different gun-cleaning kit or call us for help! Use one of the cleaning mops (G) with a small amount of solvent on it to remove any buildup from inside your barrel. Once you've run a bore brush down the barrel, use one of the cleaning mops (G) with a small amount of solvent on it to remove any buildup from inside your barrel. Open the action or break open shotgun and let it dry for about 5 minutes before you continue using your cleaning kit. Clean off all surfaces where dirt, dust, carbon deposits and body oils have accumulated using a gun cloth or swabs wet with solvent. ·        Use a gun cloth or swabs wet with solvent to clean off all surfaces where dirt, dust, carbon deposits and body oils have accumulated. ·        Open the chamber of your gun by locking it open and removing ammunition from the magazine.
