Piercefield is a part of the Ogdensburg-Massena metro area of New York with an elevation of 1,640 feet. It was established in 1801. Piercefield is part of the Saint Lawrence County. Among the biggest companies in Piercefield are Piercefield Volunteer Fire Co Inc and Town of Piercefield. In 1933, the International Paper Factory was shut down and caused the economic downturn of the town. Trout Pond is located on the south townline.
