Sundown is a small hamlet of a town located in the southeastern part of the state near the CT & MA lines. Sundown is known for it's close proximity to great camping, hiking and canoeing facilities. It's conveniently located just south of Catskill Park and has some of the most beautiful scenery and seasonal foliage you've ever seen. When you're in Sundown, be sure to take a gander at the Peekamoose Waterfall by Rondout Reservoir. It's gorgeous.
