West Point is a federal military reservation located on the west bank of the Hudson River in the Orange County region/metro area of New York; it is best known for being the location of the West Point Military Academy. Major attractions include the Army Athletic Assn, West Point Golf Course, Constitution Island, the West Point Museum as well as Eisenhower Hall, where they hold many concerts and other popular events. The Army Summer Sports Camps is open during the summer to children over 10 years old. Among the biggest companies in West Point are GloTech International Limited, and Finding Fit Within. The biggest schools here are the West Point United States Military Academy and Highland Falls Middle School. One of the best places to visit when you are in West Point is Thayer Hotel.
