Gasoline Prices YIKES!
We're all feeling the pain when it's time to gas-up the vehicles. Even my friend was complaining about how it now takes $18.00 to fill his motorcycle (oh the poor thing...). Owning a framing business, I have to drive an extended version of an SUV so I can safely transport our customer's artwork and materials used in framing, some items may as large as 40 x 60 inches or up to 10 feet long. As gas prices continue to climb, I fight a knee-jerk reaction to remove the "Mobile Service" from our website. So far, my business sense says this is going to be beneficial to you and I in the long term. I'll bring the frame and mat samples to your location and we can decide what looks best with the decor in the area where your art will hang. I've always thought this made more sense than choosing your scheme in a showroom. You see exactly how well your frame will look in its proper place, you don't have to pay for the overhead of a glitzy showroom and now you don't even have to burn the gas to go to that showroom! So HOW can you lose? As for Frame Us Pictures, we will economize by having our wholesale suppliers ship materials to us whenever possible. We'll combine our trips and become even more efficient at how we operate. We're holding the line on our every day low prices and we're going to continue with the mobile services. (For now...) What we're doing in 2008
Hi, sorry I haven't written in a while. We've been busy gearing-up with some new products. We'll soon be offering custom-framed scenic photographs. This project has been in the works for the better part of a year and should be hitting our website mid-summer. We'll also be upgrading the webpage and enabling online ordering. We've recently partnered with Google Check-Out to make the payment process smooth and trustworthy. We're excited to roll-out the new look. Stay tuned and wait until you see what we have to offer!!! Our Hours
We recently received an inquiry through Merchant Circle asking what our hours are. The short answer is, "Hours are by appointment only." Please contact us by phone or email (sales@frameuspictures.com) to set up an appointment for your custom framing needs. The long answer is more involved and includes an explanation of our "By appointment only" policy. We are a small business with no retail store front. The good news is this is one of the ways we can afford to pass significant savings along to you. We will gladly bring our mat and frame samples to your place. The benefit here is you get to see what your selection will look like in combination with the surrounding decor. You're most welcome to bring your items here, but I promise no nice showroom for reviewing your needs. Thank you!!! Dan
