Arnold AFB is a part of the southern center region of Tennessee known for being named for the “father of the US Air Force”, General Henry “Hap” Arnold. Major attractions include Franklin County Park and Coffee County Recreation Area. Each year in the spring season there is a Memorial Day Celebration. Among the biggest companies in Arnold AFB are Ascend Federal Credit Union and Pizza Hut. The biggest schools here are Coffee County Central High School and University of Tennessee Space Institute. One of the best places to visit when you are in Arnold AFB is Old Stone Fort State Park.
