hunting season
Fall is almost here and that means hunting season too. I'm sure we'll have a of of sportsmen arriving in a couple of weeks at the start of bow season. Last year our hunters got a total of 54 deer! With all the corp property around and leased land from area farmers, there is always a large amount of deer taken in the area. Since we're open year round the deer hunters will be with us pretty much through the first week of January. We're looking forward to their arrival and they are always a good group to have around. If anyone is looking for a place to hunt, get in contact with us. You would be welcome to bring your camper in here and leave it if you would like during the deer season. We offer special rates.
Upcoming holidays
We're looking forward to things picking up here. It won't be long and Memorial Day weekend will be here. It's early this year falling on May 23-25. The phone has already started to ring with reservation requests. Heritage Day, Saturday, May 23rd, always attracts a lot of people. If you don't want to miss out on all the fun, we suggest you make your reservations soon too.
