Shawanee is an unincorporated area in northern Tennessee. It is part of Claiborne County and lies northeast of the junction of state Route 63 and state Route 32. Shawanee is approximately one mile south of the Tennessee-Virginia state line. One of the best places to visit when you are in Shawanee is the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, approximately one mile west of Shawanee.
