Prominent businesses in Wartburg include Jansch Nursery and Grandma's House. Local schools include Wartburg Central High School and Central Middle School. In June, Wartburg annually hosts Rumble on the Mountain, a motorcycle ride sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Fire and Rescue Association. There is also an annual Easter Parade.
